Romans 8:37,35-39; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 1 John 4:4

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:37). The Apostle has been talking about the love of God, and what keeps us in that love of God (Romans 8:35,39). That whatever happens, at the very central of the love of Christ, that we are more than conquerors. He begins with the love of Christ and ends with the love of God, and at the very central, he says ……”we are more than conquerors through him that loved us….as we are surrounded and supported by the love of Christ and God. The early Church faced a lot of persecutions, hunted as animals by their persecutors. In spite of all the persecutions, trials and challenges coming against the body of Christ, that we are more than conquerors. I am persuaded. As we live our Christian lives, we need to be reminded that there will be times of trials, persecution, temptations, find yourself at a crossroad, perplexed and confusion, the Lord wants us to remember that with His love in your heart and life, that whatever happens, whosoever is against you, in whatever temptations, you will be more than a conqueror. Because He gives us trump at the Cross, He bought this for us, and with His Spirit, transfer that trump to every hearts. “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14). The weakest of the saints of God can have triumph because the Source and Secret of that triumph is God Himself, and He gives that triumph, victory and overcoming power to all His children. We are conquerors always not sometimes. He gives the power, enablement and strength, and makes us to triumph every tie in Christ. Salvation, sanctification, peace and purity, Holy Ghost power, courage and the backbone to stand we have all these in Christ. Every place you find yourself, the rest of your Christian life, you will triumph in Jesus Name. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Are you born again, sanctified, pure, made holy, and you have move on into the possession of the Holy Ghost power, you are of God, and you are an overcomer. Temptation, trial, persecution, at the crossroad, powers of darkness, sickness, disaster, accident, you will overcome them in Jesus Name. We need to understand who we are and what we have. The One inside you, Christ is greater that what will come against you in the world. Jesus Christ abides in the believer, He lives in you, the Father abides within you, and the Holy Ghost abides in you. The Triune God abides within us, you cannot be defeated, conquered, and you are going to overcome, you will triumph in Jesus Name.

3 points;

Matthew 4:1-11; 3:17

Christ is our King, and He has triumphed already, and we want to see the pattern and the testimony of our King’s triumph. Immediately after the testimony of the Father concerning Christ, the devil came to challenge that statement from heaven. Here we are as heirs of the kingdom, as we go, the devil is going to challenge that, he is going to bring temptations, trials, but thank God, Jesus overcame, you are going to be an overcome in Jesus Name. Jesus knew what was written in particular about Him, and He used that to overcome (Matthew 4:4). Search the Scriptures and know what is written about you, the promises and power of God for you, and when the temptation comes, you use that to overcome you. There are times Satan will appeal to the Scriptures to tempt you, or use somebody with the little Scriptures they know to tempt or try you (Matthew 4:6). Your victory and triumph is in the word of God, don’t go anywhere looking for your victory. You will fall down before Satan, you will not worship Satan, and just as Christ did not fall down nor worship Satan.

Jesus overcame because;

  1. He knew what was written – Luke 24:44; 4:16-18; Hebrews 10:7

He knew all that have been written concerning Him, and He meditated on that, and used that to overcome the devil. On the basis of the word of God that is written concerning you, you will overcome. He acted, spoke, resisted temptations according to what was written concerning Him. He knew what was written concerning Him, and He overcame. And if you know what is written concerning you, that you meditate on this always, thank God, you will overcome every time.

  1. He knew what He possessed – Luke 4:6-8; John 3:35; 17:2; Matthew 28:18; Revelations 11:15

If you don’t know what you possess, the devil will present to you what you already have, but you will not fall to his tricks. Jesus knew Himself, what the Father has given Him, and what He possessed. If you are ignorant that is how the people of the world, and the tempter will present to you what you already possess. Jesus possesses all things already, so He needed nothing from Satan. Get away Satan we have what we need. Jesus knew what He had, that was why the presentation from Satan did not ring any bell to Him. Satan came too late, Christ possess all that already. So the same thing with a child of God, know what you possess, so the devil will not trick you into sinning against the Lord. Know what you are. You are heir of the kingdom, all the things are yours, all the precious promises are yours, heaven, salvation, deliverance, healing, holiness, purity, power, heaven, paradise and happiness is yours. Get thee behind me Satan, only God will you worship

Romans 1:17; 4:17-19; 1 Corinthians 2:9,10; 2 Corinthians 4:13; 1 John 2:13,14

He has given us promises, and by these promises we remain conquerors, overcomer and we are triumphant. All we need is faith. You have faith all the promises are yours, all we need shall be provided, angels will surround you, and your life will be protected. Before you see them, confess them, that you have them already (Romans 4:17). Faith in God will cancel the power of the tempter in your life in Jesus Name (Romans 4:19). The promises of God that cover every area of your life are in the written word of God. You will be fully persuaded that everything that is written concerning you will be fulfilled; this is how to overcome the enemy (Romans 4:21). Your destiny is not in the hands of Satan, a persecutor. You will not yield to the persecutors. You have the promise of God, you will not fear, nor stagger. You have something, and you are going to enjoy what you have, and nobody will hinder the enjoyment of what God has provided for you. Your life is hid with Christ in God, and they will not overcome you. We have the power to bind and lose. And that enemy that is running after your life and family, when we bind them on earth, they are bound in heaven. Thank God you will overcome, and triumph. But you must voice this out. You will not keep quiet; there is a time to speak. And that time to speak, the power of God will energise and stir you up like the sling in the hands of David, and the stones; you will defeat that Goliath in your life in Jesus Name. “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). You also believe, and therefore speak. The Lord will uphold the words you speak, they shall not fall to the ground, not in vain, the Lord will accomplish all that you speak according to His Word. As you go out of the Camp, you are going as an overcomer, a triumphant heir, and a mighty conqueror; and you will overcome.

Isaiah 40:28-31; Luke 10:19

He has the power, and infant, He has all powers on earth and in heaven, and He transfers and transmits that power unto every heir of the kingdom.

For the bank of heaven, God is going to transfer something into your life, all the weakness will vanish away. Heaven is going to transfer power into your life. “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength” (Isaiah 40:29). He gives power to the weak and strength. You are strong, all the weakness are gone. You will fly over every mountains, rivers and uncross able doors in Jesus Name. This race that is set before you; you will not come last, but you will come first. You will run and not be weary. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). As you are running this race, all the failures of the past are cancelled. You are going out as a partaker, possessor and a conqueror in Jesus Name. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19)
